Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address through our authentication provider, Clerk. We do not store your password; authentication is handled entirely by Clerk's secure infrastructure.

Golf and Trip Data

We collect the golf and trip data you provide, including scorecards, scores, course information, player and member names, and trip and round details. This data is used to build your trip pages and books.

Photos and Video

You and your trip members may upload photos and short video clips to a trip. These files are stored securely and associated with the trip; video clips are processed and delivered through our media provider, Cloudflare Stream.

Stories and Notes

You may add written stories, anecdotes, and notes to a trip. This text is processed to help compose the trip's narrative.

Order and Shipping Information

When you order a printed trip book, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment details and the shipping address and contact phone number for your order. We do not receive or store your full card number; Stripe handles payment data directly. We retain the order details and shipping address needed to fulfill and ship your book.

Usage and Analytics Data

We use third-party analytics services to collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, device type, and general location. This data helps us improve the Service and is collected in aggregate.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• To build trip pages and books from your golf data, media, and stories
• To process, fulfill, and ship printed book orders
• To manage your account and provide customer support
• To communicate with you about the Service, including updates and announcements

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: We work with third-party providers who process data on our behalf to help operate the Service, including Clerk (authentication), Cloudflare (hosting and video delivery), Stripe (payment processing), Lulu (print and shipping of ordered books, which receives your shipping address and the book to be printed), Google (AI processing of your trip data via Gemini), and analytics providers.
• Shared trips: If you share a trip link, the trip content (including scores, stories, course information, and any included photos and videos) will be accessible to anyone who has the link.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service, including retaining order and shipping records as required for our business and legal obligations. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.
